This new participatory performance work reflects on the process and image of digestion through food and language. Gastronomic dishes, prepared from the alimentary canal; tongue, stomach and intestines, will be served alongside the presentation of a literary and visual text. Artistic, philosophical, historical, and physiological narratives will explore how we cognitively and bodily digest knowledge and experience. Together we will literally and metaphorically ruminate on ingestion, digestion, and embodied ways of knowing.
£18 (£15 concessions) Ticket includes a multi-course meal.
